The staff and children of Asian World School celebrated Children’s Day on November 14th, 2018, the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
The teacher of the school presented a fun filled program of song and dance. The first song by a teacher set the mood for what was to follow. The opening lines of ‘Aashaye’ expressed all the hopes and aspirations of not only the students but the teachers as well. This was followed by a scintillating dance group. The teachers also presented a hilarious parody which was appreciated by the audience.
There was also a prize distribution ceremony. Students had participated in competitions organized by Byju’s and TOI last month. The meritorious students were given prizes by Principal Ma’am/ our grade IX student, Smriti Singh was also acknowledged for being selected among Top 50 on regional Level in Energy Conservation Painting Competition-2018 launched by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under Ministry of Power (Government of India) and is now going to compete on State Level.
This celebration was concluded by motivating speech by Principal Ma’am.
